Leave a Gift in Your Will

LEAVE A BEQUEST TO HELP ADELAIDE KOALAS

A gift in your Will is a lasting way to support South Australia’s native wildlife.

After you have cared for your loved ones, you may choose to leave a gift to Adelaide Koala & Wildlife Centre. A gift in your Will helps protect the future of wildlife veterinary care in South Australia.

Why leave a gift to Adelaide Koala & Wildlife Centre?

Adelaide Koala & Wildlife Centre is a dedicated wildlife veterinary clinic in Plympton, South Australia. We treat koalas, possums, birds, reptiles and other native animals after they have been rescued, injured, orphaned or found unwell.

A gift in your Will can help us:

  • Provide veterinary treatment for injured and sick native animals
  • Care for koalas affected by vehicle strikes, dog attacks, disease, heat stress and trauma
  • Purchase medications, fluids, surgical supplies and diagnostic equipment
  • Support ongoing clinical care until animals can safely return to the wild
  • Keep wildlife veterinary care available for future generations

Government funding helps support core operations, but donations and gifts in Wills help fund the clinical care that animals need every day.

Ways you can leave a gift

You can choose the type of gift that best suits your wishes and personal circumstances. Common options include:
  • A percentage of your estate
  • A fixed amount of money
  • The remainder of your estate after loved ones have been provided for
  • A specific asset, such as shares or property

A Will is a legal document, so we recommend seeking independent legal advice before making or changing your Will. A solicitor can help ensure your wishes are clearly written and legally valid.
