We are always in need of goods to help us save our wildlife. Everything from trade services and medical equipment to towels and fresh gum leaves goes a long way to helping our wildlife. Stop & Save a Life
Next time your travelling whether it be in the suburbs or open country roads, keep an eye out for our wildlife. Always drive carefully and slowly in areas showing native wildlife signs. If you come across an injured animal, stop and help. Check pouches of deceased wildlife, try to safely capture or secure the animal in a dark well ventilated box, do not give the animal anything to eat or drink and phone the Centre immediately (or a rescue organisation - see here for a list of numbers you can call) If you are unable to stay with the animal, mark the area where it is located clearly and advise a rescue organisation.
Create A Wildlife Friendly Home
It is really important to keep your dogs and cats restrained during the night when our native wildlife is most active. If you notice your pet playing with something, always check what it is they have.
Create a wildlife friendly garden to encourage our native animals and to provide a safe and secure home for them. If you have a swimming pool, attach a strong rope to the fence and leave it dangling into the pool so that if a koala falls in, they can use it to climb out.

Awareness is one of the most powerful tools available to help save our wildlife. Follow us on social media and spread the word!
