Our Wish List - How you can make a difference
As a not for profit organization, we rely solely on the financial and in-kind support of individuals and businesses. Below is our wish list of items or services we are in need of and every item will make an immediate difference to our animals. We have a handy PDF file that lists all items in greater detail.
Ongoing Supplies (everyday items)
The following are items that we use frequently and use a great deal of! All the consumer items can be purchased at your local supermarket. The foliage is always welcomed as long as you can collect safely and legally.
- Fresh Eucalyptus leaf (must be cut fresh and delivered to us within 24 hours of cutting - deliveries during office hours only)
- Native flowers (must be cut fresh and delivered to us within 24 hours of cutting - deliveries during office hours only)
- Fresh fruit and vegetables (red apples, pears, corn cobs, broccoli, blueberries, bok choy, pumpkin, sweet potato, strawberries, cucumber)
- Bird seed (large and small parrot seed) and seed bells, almonds
- Wombaroo Lorikeet and Honeyeater Mix and Wombaroo Reptile Supplement
- Towels (no sheets or blankets)
- Cleaning products (washing powder, dishwashing liquid, floor cleaner, disinfectant, bleach), toilet paper, tissues
- A4 reams of paper for printing patient charts/forms (white, green, yellow)
- Gardening equipment (Eg. Secateurs & loppers), rakes, outdoor brooms, Whipper Snipper and Leaf Blowers (new only)
Items we don't use
We respectfully wish to advise that we do not use the following items at our Centre and cannot accept them.
- Pillows or any bed linen
- Teddy bears
- Sheets, blankets or doonas
- Cat or dog beds
- Shredded paper
- Pouches
